The vehicle in question is my brother-in-law’s 200k+ mile 02 Park Avenue that I just put a water pump in a couple weeks ago. Still haven’t convinced him to go full Murder Sofa with the thing…

No inspections in Ohio, but I don't have a welder.

He already took it to a shop. As far as I know, the problem area was not in an area where the can method would help anyway .

He already took it to a shop for a new muffler. As far as I know, the damage wasn’t in a spot that could be fixed with the can method.

I’m saving up for a decent welder because I have some plans that will require some good welds eventually.
